Tomfoolery!

Had a BLAST last night. I haven't seen some of the friends that were there last night in months. Naturally, I SUCKED at bowling. Nothing new there! I think my score was 89! We only bowled one game because there were 14 of us there and we kept distracting each other. The beers that kept flowing didn't help matters either. HA! That single game took over an hour and a half. :-O

After our bowling extravaganza we piled into our cars and drove across town for some Karaoke fun. Please note that I DO NOT sing... publicly.... I only sing in my car. I happen to think that I sound pretty good. Other people (Nick) happen to disagree. I'll just agree to completely disagree with him on that one. ;)

Speaking of Nick, we were going crazy with the pictures last night. He just REFUSED to take a normal one. What is it with men and cameras? I don't get it. LOVE HIM!

I ended up ordering a salad at the bar last night. The Portabello Salad just sounded too good to pass up. Sadly it was only "okay". It had feta, mixed greens, portabellos, black olives and artichoke hearts. Served with flat bread (which I did not eat) and a balsamic vinaigrette.

WHEW! Long night. FULL OF TOMFOOLERY! Oddly enough we were one of the first couples to leave. I think we took off at around midnight. I was getting tired (bit too much beer I think) and I wanted to make sure to wake up early enough to make it to the gym. PRIORITIES!!

Getting up this morning sucked, a lot. I had a slight headache! I took some medicine and hoped that it would go away before gym time.

BREAKFAST (meal #1) at 9:15am.

I welcome back my beloved breakfast wrap.
  • 4 egg whites mixed with chopped spinach and S+P
  • More spinach leaves
  • Honey wheat FlatOut
  • The last of my Trader Joe's cilantro jalapeno hummus (SO SAD TO SEE THIS GO)
  • Sriracha

Come here you little sexy thing.

After breakfast I tossed in some laundry, fed the cat, changed for the gym and somehow managed to be there by 10:00am. WOW!

NO IDEA what was going on today but my legs were so shaky. I just felt weak. maybe it was the three new machines? I had a hard time walking downstairs after my elliptical session. UGH! I was there for two hours though and really pushed it. I had to so I could feel better about my beer consumption last night. And we're going on a Sushi double date for Valentines Day tonight. I don't plan to drink anything other than green tea though. However, desert might be in my near future. So yeah, I pushed it. I'm crazy like that! ;)

SNACK (meal #2) at 12:15pm.

I made another shake with one of the sample Jay Robb packets I received the other day. These little gems are seriously delicious! SO RICH! And with 25g of protein you just can't go wrong!
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze
  • 1 packet Jay Robb vanilla whey protein
  • A mix of frozen peaches, pineapple and strawberries

THIS PROTEIN POWDER IS SO GOOD! HURRY, GO GET SOME!!!

A few hours later I was getting a bit hungry so I made myself a little salad to hold me over until SUSHI TIME!

LUNCH (meal #3) at 3:00pm.
  • Spinach
  • Leftover baked acorn squash
  • Leftover Tilapia fillet
  • Kaia Foods sweet curry sprouted sunflower seeds
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Drizzle of Spray Butter

It filled me up perfectly. After my food settled I decided to get all dolled up for our double date dinner plans. We never go out to eat. EVER! And I love Sushi. I'm looking very forward to tonight.

SUSHI TIME! ;)

Have a great night and happy Valentine's Day Weekend. Share it with someone you love!

XOXO!!!!
